White House worried about Glenn Beck CNN Political TickerIn an interview with CNN, Sherrod said she repeatedly fielded calls on Monday during a long car ride, during which officials insisted that she pull over to the side of the road and quit her post."They asked me to resign, and, in fact, they harassed me as I was driving back to the state office from West Point, Georgia yesterday," Sherrod told CNN. It was the Secretary's decision, as he has said wow gold."Sherrod said the final call came from Cheryl Cook, an undersecretary at the Department of Agriculture. Sherrod said White House officials wanted her to quit immediately because the controversy was "going to be on Glenn Beck tonight wow gold."Related: Ex-worker: USDA 'wasn't interested in hearing the truth'Fox 30 is the only News agency left in America. They actually report the facts and all these idiots on here that call Beck a racist have obviously never tuned in to watch his show. CNN, CNBC, and ABC are so far up this Administrations ass if you look closely you can actually see the top of their heads when Obama opens his mouth to read his teleprompter wow gold ideal. Where has there been any reporting on any of the crap this Administration has done in the last two years? Backroom bribes=0, False CBO reports in support of healthcare=0, Black Panther case and the DOJ=0. Thank God for someone to stand up and speak up! They in the WH are afraid of the Truth because they are a bunch of self serving corrupt Chicago thugs that live on their lies.July 20, 2010 01:20 pm at 1:20 pm |Having listened to the story on CNN, I think the woman deserve her job back and should go to court if that does not happen. The farmer's wife backed her story and what more could be revealing. The world now knows the truth and the truth ought to restore her job. Its not uncommon for people to approach other people with a superiority complex and commenting on her past experience should not affect her job. In her case, she did enough and her enough was good enough for the farmer to retain his farm. It's not unusual, equally, for some private and public agencies to send customers to individuals who could identify with them, to handle the customer's problems. I see that everyday. I experience it every time.July 20 wow gold kopen, 2010 01:27 pm at 1:27 pm |Sadly, I have to admit that this administration is showing very poor leadership. Andrew Breitbart edited a clip of a speech about a woman who learned to see past race 24 years ago, and packaged it as a story about a civil rights organization that is racist and embedded in federal government today. What Breitbart did is horrible not only is he trying to foment paranoia about black people, but he destroyed the life of someone far more enlightened than he will ever be to do it. And the White House rolled over on it because they're afraid of Glenn Beck's own delusional ranting. All this will do is encourage more misinformation and paranoia peddling. If the Obama administration cannot learn that the cost of standing up to these people is worth it, if only because rolling over for them is worse, they can't expect to hold onto either house of Congress in November.July 20, 2010 01:32 pm at 1:32 pm |Oh WOW wow gold po. I'll bet the thought of being on Glenn Beck really scared her into making the decision to quit. I think her effort to put into prospective the reasons for doing the right thing were illconcieved at best and out right wrong. What she did was wrong , however, before a snippet is just case for a resignation or termination, I think the validity of the entire taped conversation should be verified. Just because you walk up on a hunter holding a shot gun and standing over the body of another hunter and hear him claim "This is sad but I really didn't like this guy" doesn't imply guilt while the actual scene would. Find out first and then take action.
